There are two kinds of controller used inside the ballast : 1.CPU  2.ASIC ,

describe as follows. 
    1.All the HID Ballasts made in china use CPU programming controller ,the program is easy to copy ,so an engineer could make a CPU ballast in his living-room ,so that rapidly creating many hid makers in China,but a CPU controller can't monitoring the HID lamp (lamp power keep changing all the time ), and the operation flow is not smooth , then it causes many  problems, so many customers always say that a HID system which is made in China is no good .and their one year warranty is difficult. but Hylux is not the one .    
    2.HYLUX's ballast uses ASIC chipset controller which is the same type as HELLA; Matsushida etc . this type of chipset is dificult to design and it spend lots of money , we spend about us$600,000 to develop this chipset which is with fully functions of real-time lamp-monitoring and protection . throught many tests and  outstanding  ccomplishment so Hylux's quality is surely good .
            
          3.Hylux's goal for next year is to sell the ballast approach 3kk pieces in one year.so we supply high quality HID system but very cheap price in order to reach the goal.
